Face down on the table,
I've just about had enough.
I've had enough of your Cain and Able.
I've had enough of your huff and puff.

Evil twins who'll do anything to win,
they're greedy and they want the stuff.
I'm tired of the names and all the dirty little games.
They both think too much is never enough.

They're always ready for battle.
They think they're swooping in to save the day.
They need a lot of cages to rattle.
They want you to think violence is freedom's way.

Blame the wolves for their bad tempers.
They'll pick a fight for something said off the cuff.
One twin's spin is, "Never give in,"
The other preaching, "are you tough enough?"

Each one trying to pull the other one down,
Both insisting this is how it's gotta be.
Each one's attitude is stand your ground.
The scapegoat is always you and me.

One twin sins, the other one wins,
I've just about had enough.
One twin pounds, the other goes down.
I've just about had enough.

Only reason you're there's to make the other one grind
And glare at you for never being willing to bend.
You've got all the twisted markings of a schizophrenic mind.
Your worst enemy is your own best friend.

They're twins in the bottle,
and I've just about had enough.
They fighting to the death with liquor on their breath,
and I've just about had enough.

Good and evil, god and devil,
doesn't matter which side you choose.
Growl and roar from the opposite shore.
You wonder why I still have the blues.

Head down on the table,
I've just about had enough.
Twins messin' inside my mind, and
I've just about had enough.
