Musical Autobiography pt. 1 - 1949 - 1963
I decided to be a composer in 1960 at age eleven. I started writing songs in 1966 when I was sixteen. I first produced my own music at the age of 18. After fifty years in the twentieth century, writing, playing and producing, I decided that in the twenty first century, self production was the only way I could guarantee a personal artistic vision. I also realized that I had the secretive temperament of a songwriter, which, for me, made public performance an event I had to learn to limit to situations I chose, instead of using it exclusively to earn a living. I became a teacher and a music director at a local church. I wore many musical hats. So far, I have written and produced over twenty albums of original music, songs and instrumentals, with three more on the way.
