Let It Be Broken
First you say y'don't wanna talk about it,
Then you tell me to forget about it,
Then you try to laugh it off and fail,
Your face looks like you been in jail.
Hold it in never let 'em know
You didn't know you have a soul.
There is no place for to you go,
Or pretend to hide.
Your heart is broken,
so what else is new?
And the life you made
is finally talking back to you.
Can your arms open
to greet a friend?
And when the world it takes you down
And breaks your heart again,
can you let it be broken?
Everyday since you made it clear
You gonna act any way you want to,
You said you're never going to die here,
But you ended up getting caught anyway,
And even now you can't admit the truth.
You're still trying to make a bet.
You're suffering, you're feeling bad
You won't let anyone forget.
Your heart is broken
and you're so blue.
Everything is upside down,
now what are you going to do?
Can I come closer
and be a friend?
And when the world it brings you down
And breaks your heart again,
will you let it be broken?
Now you living in a world of pain.
How is it that you can be so vain?
You never realized the way you lived
Called the shots for the fix you're in.
What's it all about anyway?
You never looked at what you did.
Now you can't move
And someone else
Has to make your bed.
Your days are numbered,
your days are few.
Feeling sorry for yourself,
is that what it's coming to?
It's time to give up
and be a friend.
For any kindness you receive
Can heal your heart again,
if you let it be broken.
