From Another Time
Finally, this sentimental homage to the Beatles. A tribute that must be made to a group that literally changed the spirit of the age from despair to hope, and suffered the scars and wounds of fame, until it eventually killed two of them.
From Another Time
You would sing to me
and all I could do was sing along,
sing my mind.
In my mind
you would show me the saddest wonders,
and it would take me away again.
You were like a wishing well, and I,
I could see everything,
the joy that you were
bringing to everyone,
and the moment you gave
all of us who loved you.
Love be true.
Nobody else has come along
to take your place, in my mind.
It’s all coming back to me now,
from another time.
